Netherlands (EN) Iron Deficiency Support Group - ONLINE

Have you been told your iron is low? Or that it's "normal", even though you still feel exhausted? You're not the only one.

Iron deficiency is one of the most common nutrient deficiencies. It affects around 1 in 3 women at some point. It can cause fatigue, brain fog, hair loss, breathlessness, feeling cold and low mood. Many of these overlap with burnout, so low iron can go unnoticed for a long time.

This is a relaxed get-together for anyone living with iron deficiency or anaemia, waiting for answers, or wondering whether low iron could be behind their tiredness.

Even when you recover you may be grieving time you lost to this deficiency. Do you feel sad or angry that you missed your favourite workouts or didn't have energy for your kids in the evening? Meet people who understand you here.

What we'll do:

  • Get to know each other in a supportive setting

  • Share knowledge and experiences: symptoms, blood tests, supplements, infusions, food and what has (or hasn't) helped

  • Ask your questions. Your host, Nerys Williams Giuliani (certified nutritionist and lifestyle coach, PhD in Biomedical Science), can share her knowledge and lived experience of iron deficiency.

Please note: this is a peer support meetup, not a medical appointment.
We won't diagnose you or recommend doses. Talk to your doctor before starting or changing iron supplements.

Come as you are. Leave feeling a little less alone.

To sign up, register your interest on Meetup via the LINK or message me via WhatsApp: +31 6 8280 7352.

After sign-up I’ll send you a link for the Google Meet call.

Hoping to meet you there!
